COVID-19 Posts Set up in Piers of Pari and Panggang Islands

It is purposed to monitor citizens' activities from and to the mainland, including local fishermen

Three posts for COVID-19 have been set up in piers of Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

"It is purposed to monitor citizens' activities from and to the mainland, including local fishermen," said Pari Island Urban Village Head, Mahtum, Monday (4/6).

Sumur Batu Set Up Four Posts for COVID-19

He explained each post is guarded with Satpol PP, medics, RT/RW caretakers, army and police, as well as civil servants to check the body temperature of the crew and passengers after land.

Similar post is also spotted in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, precisely on Pramuka and Panggang islands' piers.

Panggang Island Urban Village Puskesmas Head Tri Lusmantoro uttered Satpol PP and medics continue to monitoring loading and unloading activities of passengers and goods coming from Jakarta and Tangerang.

"We always check the body temperature of all passengers, crew members and locals from the pier. Especially for locals, we urge them to do self-isolation for 14 days," he stated.
